General terms and conditions of the online shop HEMPOTECA
These General Sales Conditions apply to the sale of products with exclusive reference to purchases made on the site in accordance with the provisions of Part III, Title III, Chapter I, Consumer Code (Legislative Decree no. 206/05 amended by Legislative Decree no. 21/14 and Legislative Decree no. 70/03) by:
The online store HEMPOTECA (hereinafter referred to as “online store”), managed by Sound System d.o.o., Biasoletto 4, 52215 Vodnjan, OIB 58931711077, which is also a provider of e-commerce services (hereinafter also “supplier”).
Read the general terms and conditions of the online shop, as they bind you as soon as you access our online shop. It is believed that you are aware of all the contents of the General Terms and Conditions and that you have accepted the terms and conditions offered without restriction with each transaction made through our online store.
You can use the services of the online store when you register as a user. When you log in to the system, you will get a username equal to your email address and password. The user name and password of the user are determined unequivocally and linked to the information entered. By registering, a visitor over the age of 18 becomes a user and acquires the right to purchase.
The supplier reserves the right to make changes to the general conditions without notice. The changes are effective from the time of publication and are binding on the user.
The online shop is open daily, 24 hours a day. For various technical reasons, it is sometimes not possible to manage a business through our online store or even access a store. Therefore, the supplier reserves the right to limit or suspend the sale of some or even all products for a fixed or indefinite period of time or to limit or suspend access to the website of the online store for a fixed or indefinite period.
The purchasing process
To see what is available for purchase, just browse the online product catalog. When you find the product you want to order, click “Add to cart” and specify the quantity. When your order contains the number of items you wish to purchase, register to continue or register for the first time to make a purchase from our online store. Then enter your shipping and payment information (credit card information), recheck your order and confirm your purchase at the final stage.
The steps of the purchase process:
Step 1: Add products to cart
Add the item you wish to purchase to your cart by clicking the appropriate button (“Add to cart”). Products are grouped by category (e.g. ingredients, fragrances, purpose, etc.). For more information about the selected product, click on the image, the product name or the “OTHER…” tab. You can add any number of products to your shopping cart. Once the addition is complete, you can continue shopping later or complete your purchase. In the first case, the products in your cart will be stored for later purchase. You can also remove the items in your cart (by clicking the [X] button) or change the quantity.
Step 2: Choose your payment method and delivery (registration, enter your payment and delivery address)
If you are a registered user, please enter your username and password in the fields provided. For unregistered users, click the “Not registered” button and fill out the “My details” form, where fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. Confirm your details by clicking the “Continue shopping” button. With the purchase previously unregistred customer receives his personal account, of which password is sent to the email used for purchse.
The delivery address of the ordered goods is the same as the billing address, that was entered in the “My details” form. If you would like to receive the ordered products at another address (e.g. to work) or send them to someone for a gift, click on the “Delivery to another address” field and enter the required information. In this case, the invoice will be sent to the customer and the products to the recipient. Just know that if you send a package to a different address than your subscribers, you cannot pay for the goods on delivery. By clicking on “Continue shopping” you will be directed to a page where you will have to choose between the payment methods offered.
Step 3: Payment (checking your order, selecting your payment method and confirming or completing your purchase)
Before clicking on the “Place order”, make sure that the list of products ordered is correct. Please also check your shipping address.
Ordering – remote contract
Contracts shall be concluded in the Slovenian language. They are electronically archived at the head office. Customers can request a pdf copy via our contact person email@example.com. For copies of contracts (invoices, delivery notes) that are more than two years old, we may charge an issuing commission.
We treat accepted orders as irrevocable. The buyer can cancel the order without any additional obligation from the moment of placing the order to the receipt of the electronic notification that the order is in progress.
Methods of payment
The supplier offers the following payment methods:
– Payment on delivery (the buyer will pay the purchase price on delivery.)
– Payment by debit or debit card, credit card (Maestro, Activa Maestro, Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron, Diners),
When you make a payment by debit or credit card, your order will be processed immediately. Once your card details have been verified and approved by the system, your package will be shipped.
All prices of online shops are in Euros and include VAT (value added tax).
All orders are subject to current prices. At the time of purchase, we will take into account the price applicable at the time of confirmation of payment.
The prices of the products currently applied, which are subject to change without notice.
Privacy and data protection
The consumer’s right to withdraw from the contract
The consumer (the above applies only to natural persons who purchase an article for purposes outside their gainful employment) has the right to inform the seller within 14 days of receipt of the article that he is withdrawing from the contract without having to justify his decision. The period begins one day after the date of receipt of the items.
The consumer must notify the withdrawal from the contract to the e-mail address of the seller: firstname.lastname@example.org

In case of cancellation of the contract, the consumer returns the article or returns it by mail to the address of the seller: Sound System d.o.o., Biasoletto 4, 52215 Vodnjan, or brings it personally to the specified address of the seller.
The consumer must return the item to the seller without damage and in unchanged quantity, unless the item is destroyed, defective, lost or its reduced quantity without the consumer being at fault. The consumer of the articles may not use freely until the termination of the contract. The consumer may inspect and test the articles to the extent necessary to establish the actual situation. It is the consumer’s responsibility to reduce the value of the goods if the reduction is the result of behaviour not strictly necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
The only cost to the consumer in relation to the cancellation of the contract is the cost of returning the items (which, if shipped, is charged according to the price list of the delivery service and depends on whether it is a shipment / parcel / goods). In the case of sales contracts, the company may withhold the refund of payments received until the return of the goods or until the consumer has proven that he has returned the goods, unless the company offers the opportunity to accept only the returned goods.
The consumer does not have the right to withdraw from the contract in the case of contracts whose subject matter is an article made according to the exact instructions of the consumer, which has been adapted to his personal needs, which by its nature is not suitable for a refund that is perishable or has expired.
Payments will be refunded as soon as possible and in any case within 14 days of receipt of the notice of withdrawal. The company will return payments to the consumer using the same payment method used by the consumer (which is more common with a payment to a transaction account) unless the consumer has explicitly requested the use of a different payment method and the consumer incurs no costs.
When you withdraw from a contract where a bonus, discount code or promotional code has been used, these funds are considered a discount and will not be returned to you. Only the amount returned to the user is refunded.
In exceptional cases, when items are not returned in accordance with regulations, we may offer the consumer the purchase of the item with adequate compensation, which is determined by the record at the time of return. The reduced refund is taken into account when the consumer confirms by e-mail. The consumer uses this redemption only when ordering another item of equal or greater value.
The right to a refund in the event of warranty claims and material errors is more strictly regulated by the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act.
Withdrawal of the consumer from the contract for bundled articles
If the consumer chooses to withdraw from the contract for the items that make up the kit, he may request a replacement for the entire kit for the same kit or a refund. The consumer can replace the item in the kit in case of a material defect or damage to the item and cannot claim a refund.
All products are inspected and shipped intact before delivery. We will carefully pack your items in the delivery box to ensure that they arrive intact and in their original packaging.
In accordance with Section 37 of the Consumer Protection Act, the purchaser has the right, in the event of a product defect, to require the company to replace the defective product with a new defective product either to return the amount paid or to rectify the defect in the product or to return part of the amount paid in proportion to the error.
If the packaging is damaged, the buyer must notify its request to Bioteca d.o.o. within 8 days of receipt of the goods.
You can place your orders online from 0.00 to 24.00 every day. Delivery time is 7 business days. Orders received on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays will be shipped the first following business day. In case there is no stock, the order is dispached in the next three days.
For Slovenia and Italy the buyer covers the shipping costs alone if the amount of the purchase is less than 50 €, otherwise the shipping costs are FREE. If you decide to pay for the order at the time of delivery, the amount of shipping costs will be increased to the redemption and commission service charged by shipping provider. Postal charges are calculated on the basis of Bartolini S.p.A.’s (for Italy) and GLS, Pošta Slovenije current price lists.
Delivery of the goods ordered in an online shop is only possible in the European Union, excluding Malta and Cyprus.

All payments made with a payment card are processed in real time for your security and to make you feel good by immediately checking your bank details. Payment can be made with a payment card (Maestro, Activa Maestro, MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron, Diners Club).
All information provided by the user is encrypted using SSL encryption technology. This advanced data encryption process allows you to intercept personal information during the journey from your computer to our or our computer to the bank. The HEMPOTECA online store does its best to ensure that the information published on its website is up to date and accurate. However, item properties, delivery times or prices may change so quickly that the HEMPOTECA Web Store cannot correct the information on the Web sites. In this case, the HEMPOTECA online store will notify the buyer of the changes and allow him to withdraw from the contract or replace the item ordered.
The BIOTECA Web Store is not responsible for the content of reviews of articles written by visitors. The HEMPOTECA Web Store examines the opinions before posting a review and rejects those that contain manifest lies that are inadequate, misleading or offensive. HEMPOTECA Web Store is not responsible for the information contained in the opinions and is limited by any liability arising from the information provided in the opinions.
The HEMPOTECA online store can only withdraw from the contract if a manifest error is identified (article 46 of the CC). The obvious defect is the defect in the essential characteristics of the article and any errors that are considered decisive by custom in the trade or for the purposes of customers and that would not be confirmed or concluded by the HEMPOTECA Online Shop in the event of information. This also includes obvious price errors.
